Is Android 6.0.1 a security or compatibility risk for new deployments?
For closed fleet-management applications with no direct internet-facing dependencies, a mature OS version reduces compatibility surprises. It is still an old release, and the datasheet makes no commitment on security updates, so confirm that any newer application you plan to run will install and work.
Does the standard configuration sacrifice ruggedness to hit a lower price?
