The A4 comparison is the one worth holding onto, because almost everyone has a sheet to hand and almost no one has a 10-inch tablet to hold up against a dashboard. A4 is 21 × 29.7 cm. A 10.1″ tablet in landscape is a little shorter and a little wider than that sheet turned sideways — close enough that holding a sheet of A4 up to the intended mounting position is a reliable way to check clearance before ordering.
